Welcome to the Bellevue Hill Improvement Association Website!
Our community improvement association was formed for the following purpose:
    • To protect and preserve the Bellevue Hill neighborhood, namely the section of West Roxbury bounded by the West Roxbury Parkway, Washington Street, Maplewood - St. Theresa Avenue and Centre Street
    • To improve the residential character of the area by promoting the health, safety, convenience, and general welfare of its residents
    • To discourage misuse of property, traffic hazards, and activities inconsistent with the peaceful enjoyment of residing in the community, and
    • To actively participate in neighborhood and related city wide matters which concern the well being of the membership.
Our Semi-Annual Meeting will be held on May 16, 2011 at  7:00 pm at St.George Orthodox Church - 55 Emmonsdale Road in West Roxbury.

Lt. Kevin Calnan, with Major Grenham, from the Massachusetts State Police will join us to discuss the role of the State Police on Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) property, including the Bellevue Hill Tower, and their plans for Summer Patrols.

Jim Hunt will join us from the City of Boston.  He is the  Chief of Environmental and Energy Services.  In this capacity, he oversees Inspectional Services, the Environmental Department, Parks Planning, and Boston's Recycling Program.

City Councilor Matt O'Malley, and City Councilors At-Large will also be on hand.

Please join us for an interesting and informative meeting.

Our meetings are open to all residents and business owners in West Roxbury, including those who are not currently served by a neighborhood association.
